Trick-or-Treating

For those who grew up trick-or-treating the idea is not novel.  However, John David did not grow up doing this so this is the first year John David could legitimately go.  He took Hugh who finally caught on at the end that he got something.  Apparently he would squeal because he knew something was coming.  John David was scared at first to go to doors but got the hang of it (he thought no one would have candy).  Hugh enjoyed himself too!

Picking Raspberries and September Misc.

Hugh ate so many raspberries, including the stems.

This watermelon is about 30 lbs., we got it from the same place where we picked raspberries.

This is what happens when I let John David cook.  This is dutch coco from Oma that made a huge mess of fine powder all over.

Hugh at a friends birthday party.  He actually tried to eat everyones cupcake in addition to his own.

Anniversary flowers from John David.

We go and watch the sunset from a parking garage near us.
Hugh frequently falls out of bed and this is him asleep on the floor.

Washington Harbour and Georgetown

We went on a river cruise on the Potomac and got to see a lot of national sites from the water.  We went because I had a
coupon deal so all of us went for $12.

Healy Hall at Georgetown

The campus was getting rid of balloons so we asked if we could have some rather than letting them all go.  Hugh was in heaven.
