Freedom Trail in Boston

Hugh in a hat, his ears stick out

Hugh climbed 100 stairs of about 300 in the Bunker Hill monument, JD carried him up 200 and back down the 300.  I was lucky to make it , I had so many contractions and my legs hurt for 3 days.

At the north Church and no I am not brainwashing Hugh to be more American, he loves flags.

The U.S.S. Constitution. It actually was used in the Revolutionary War

The highlight of the whole trip for Hugh (plus the flag)

Old North Church: The church that Paul Revere signaled from (I think)

Paul Revere's house

Harvard

Hugh and Opa driving the Mustang. Opa doesn't seem to think this is a good idea

Hugh in Heaven at the Curious George Store near Harvard

Hugh kissing George

We changed Hugh's diaper in the trunk - we call it improv. The parking in Cambridge was very expensive. We were expecting to pay something like a few dollars an hour, but it averages at about $20 for a few hours. We ended up getting $9 for about 3-4 hours because we parked after 4 PM, and we bought something at the Curious George store.
The divinity school: we were just touring around and ran into a couple that lived in our student ward back at BYU (the Becerras, for anyone reading this from Wymount), who are now at Harvard. What are the odds. But it didn't cross our minds to take a picture.

Lexington

Hugh and Ruth at Buckman's Inn (where the Minute Men waited for the British)

At the Battle Green

Buckman's Inn again

The sign read: House of Jonathan Harrington who wounded on the common April 19, 1775, dragged himself to the door and died at his wife's feet.  (Glad that wasn't me)

Hugh liked this pink bike that was near the minute man statue
Us at the Minute man statue, we could only stay in Lexington for about and hour so we didn't see a ton.

Hand, Foot, Mouth

Trying to get Hugh to eat: Hugh got the virus back in August and he is still healing

The red spots are blisters from the virus, his toes were really bad and now a month later his toe nails are coming off

More sores

It was a rough 10 days when Hugh got the virus because he got it from some other kids but it is very contagious so we were pretty much stuck at home for a week.

Never A Dull Moment

Hugh has taken it upon himself to make sure I never have a dull moment.  Within the last month he dove out of a cart at a store and landed head first on cement; got sick with croup the week we moved and then had a coughing fit which resulted in vomiting, all on the night we moved (lame ER visit); pees his bed frequently even though he is wearing a diaper; got hand, foot, mouth really bad; and most recently locked himself in his room. It took me 40 mins to get the door open because the design of the door was really odd.
