If your happy and you know it: woof...woof!

Hugh loves dogs and he calls them pup pup (aka puppy).  He tries to woof and it is hilarious.  John David caught this on camera today.

I went to N.C. so Hugh could play with all of his cousins and see my sisters.  I was pretty proud that I drove all the way there with just Hugh and no GPS.

If you get embarrassed, don't have kids

This post is mostly about me, though it involves Hugh.

Yesterday Hugh picked up a bottle of hand sanitizer in a doctor's office, shook it up and dropped it making it explode on the floor.  Funny, if it isn't your kid doing it.

Cowboy Hugh about to destroy the Duplo tower
We were at another office and Hugh kept going up to the receptionist and saying hi, 20 minutes later she brought him a fruit juice box.  My son is the biggest moocher in the world.

Hugh loves buttons and tried to poke a lady in the bum because she had buttons on the back of her pants.

People always tell me that Hugh can play with stuff and when he almost breaks it they change their mind.

He has "melting fits" and he did it while I was out Visiting Teaching on Sunday.  Which makes me look like I am a super mean mom.

I think Hugh thinks if he just "smiles and waves" all will be forgiven

Needless to say Beware Kids Love to Embarrass You!

And another trick...

Today Hugh discovered that if he scrapes Duplo down the window it makes a screeching sound

For about two weeks, he has also been going over the edge of the couch. Most days he goes feet first, but he has sometimes gone head first.

Adrenaline Rush

I rode Hugh off our one step in his wagon and now he thinks he can run off of it.

New tricks

He has learned how to open the fridge, the dishwasher, the oven and turn all the dials too.  He pushes his wagon to the piano and get in to play.  To sum up, he has figured out how to do a lot of naughty things.

Hugh thought the rind was tasty till I laughed at him

Diaper cream in the hair, on his clothes, on his face, and on his toys

I made this tie for Hugh but I think he shows it off best in his almost birthday suit

Reading

For those who may think he is really this brilliant he's not, but he thinks he is and goes around with books reading to us.

Hello?

As of Friday, Hugh has a new word: heyo (hello). He picks up Duplo, puts it to his ear, and then says "heyo"

Hook, Line, and Stinker

When we change Hugh's diaper he runs away so usually we lure him into his bedroom with a toy or blanket and then shut the door so he can't run very far.  To continue changing his diaper we have to give him something or he won't lay down so we can change it.
